TRADITION
Every celebration Brass in Bali , there
is a unique tradition that villagers held Bongan , Tabanan , which spreads the
money after prayer . Tradition called mesuryak or cheer has been going on for
decades and passed down from generation to generation . 
After praying in the temple with family
, people who have more direct economic ability rushed to the front yard . Then
the host prepares a sum of money from a variety of denominations , from Rp 500
to Rp 100,000 , to be distributed to other people by way of spread into the air
. Residents who are mostly youth and children 's later fought to welcome "
rain money " that distributed host . Quite often there are of them push
each other and falling to get a piece of Rp 1,000 to Rp 100,000 late - late . Mesuryak
society is a manifestation of joy after the feast held . It is also believed
that during the feast , their ancestors return to their homes for 10 days after
Galungan . To that end , Mesuryak is part of the ancestral rituals that release
them back into place with a happy , namely Swarga loka . The local Hindu
community to implement these ceremonies for generations . And it is expected
with implementation of these traditions can add to a close sense of family ,
togetherness and improve relationships is the Almighty God , fellow human
beings and the universe .
PURPOSE
Mesuryak tradition is a symbol of
sacrifice to the ancestors who have died in order to get a decent spot . The
abstract ( not real ) we give offerings and scale ( real ) we give money . For
some people , they believe , the current overspend will receive reciprocal
Brass or more sustenance for having equip their ancestors who have died.
